Congratulations to the 2010 Mouse & Trowel Award Winners!

Posted: May 18th, 2010 | Author: Colleen | Filed under: Uncategorized | 18 Comments »

What an awards season: with 548 nomination ballots (our most ever), and a whopping 5,042 individual votes cast, it’s clear that there is plenty of interest in garden blogs! I heard over and over again that there were some really tough choices to be made on that final ballot, and I can’t agree more — every one of the finalists was a stellar example of what you can do with a passion for gardening, good writing, and the talent to pull it all together.

And BIG Kudos to Colleen Vanderlinden (did I spell that right?) for her amazing initiative in launching the Mousies in ‘07. Honey, if you could bottle your energy, you’d be a frickin’ millionaire 5 times over! (In addition to being a market organic gardener, blogger, social media maven and garden blogger awards innovator, this woman has, I believe, FOUR children under the age of 6–or is it under the age of 7 now?)! You, my friend, are AMAZING!

Congrats to all! Can’t wait to dive into a few of these that are new-to-me or that I have not visited in quite some time.
